William The Society for Creative Anachronism KINGDOM OF DRACHENWALD Office of the Lieutenant General of Archers ARCHERY INFORMATION PACKAGE July A.S. XXIX (A.D.1994) Written by Master William de Corbie, OP 1. INTRODUCTION The purpose of archery in Drachenwald is to recreate historic archery from the dark ages, middle ages and renaissance. This is done in two distinct shooting forms: target archery and combat archery. Target archery activities include bowyering, shooting at the mark, and clout shooting. Combat archery activities include shooting at fighters and combat archers in melees and wars, and the use of other missile weapons such as javelins, throwing axes, &c. Division of responsibility Combat archery is a part of combat activities and is organized by the Marshallate. The Archery office only deals therewith in an advisory function. The current rules for combat archery are included in this document as a matter of information, but they are not laid down by the Lieutenant General of Archers. It may happen that one and the same person will serve as both an officer for target archery and for combat archery. This person then holds two offices: the target archery office is under the jurisdiction of the Lt. Gen. of Archers or his local representative, whereas the combat archery office is under the jurisdiction of the Earl Marshal or his local representative. Archery events An official archery event for the purpose of these rules is any archery- related event published in the Kingdom or a Principality newsletter. This includes competitions as well as regularly scheduled practises. 2. OFFICERS Captain of Archers Any branch may appoint a Captain of Archers. In order to get this registered, a letter of application should be sent to the Lt. Gen. of Archers, signed by the applicant and the branch Seneschal. The Captain of Archers can, but does not have to, be an Archery Marshal. The captaincy is an administrative function, and does not require archery skills. The rights and duties of the Captain are: - To serve as a point of contact to Barony, Principality or Kingdom superiors. - To spread information about target archery in the branch, and report to the nearest superior at least twice annually. Reports should contain information about all archery events and archery-related activities held in the branch, and a list of active archers. - To organize target archery activities in his branch. (Competitions require the presence of an Archery Marshal.) - To appoint and warrant archery marshals, when such power has been delegated to the Captain by the Lt. Gen. of Archers. - To report specifically such results which earn archers elevation in rank. Archery Marshal The Kingdom Lieutenant General of Archers, and any Principality or Barony archery captain to whom he delegates it, has the right to warrant archery marshals. Warrants are valid until cancelled by announcement in the Kingdom newsletter, or until the holder ceases to be a member of the SCA. In order to be an archery marshal, the following qualifications must be met: - Being a member of the SCA. - Owning a complete set of archery equipment. - Demonstrating familiarity with current SCA archery conventions and rules. - Demonstrating ability to safely run an archery shoot. - Sending a letter of application to the Lt. Gen. of Archers (or his delegated representative), signed by the applicant and at least one other warranted archery marshal who attests that the applicant fulfils the above requirements. - In the absence of feasible ways to ensure that the above requirements are fulfilled, the Lt. Gen. or Archers can appoint archery marshals on their own recognisance. The rights and duties of an Archery Marshal are: - To uphold familiarity with current archery rules in the Kingdom. - To organize and run archery events anywhere in the Kingdom. - To manage safety and score keeping at archery events. - To ensure that the safety and equipment rules are followed. - To assist in setting up the archery range at events. 3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Authority and inspection a. No archery shall take place at an event without a warranted archery marshal present, referred to hereafter as the marshal. b. If more than one marshal is present, the autocrat shall designate one as marshal in charge. The marshal in charge bears the overall respons- ibility and has the final say in matters of equipment and safety. c. In the event of any disagreement concerning the archery, the marshal will resolve the dispute. d. The marshal's commands are to be followed explicitly by all archers while on the field. Repeated or intentional failure to follow direction will result in the archer being removed from the field for the day. e. The marshal may appoint others to assist him in running the shooting line and inspection of equipment, but responsibility for safety remains with the marshal in charge. f. The marshal will inspect all bows and other equipment for safety and conformity with these rules. No damaged or unsafe equipment shall be permitted. Setting up the range An archery marshal shall either be responsible for, or advise the autocrat in setting up the archery range. The range shall be set up in such a way that no spectators stand in front of the shooting line, and that overshot arrows will not hit persons or damage property. Running the shoot A. The marshal will order the archers to the line. B. The range will be checked to see that there is no one downrange, by the call "clear downrange!". C. The marshal will state the range and the number of arrows to be shot. D. The marshal will issue the command to commence shooting. 1. For untimed shoots, archers are allowed any reasonable amount of time. 2. For timed shoots. the following procedure shall be followed: a. The marshal states the range and the amount of time allowed for the shoot. b. Archers are allowed to start with one arrow nocked and drawn. c. The marshal inquires if the archers are ready. d. When the archers are ready, the marshal counts down in seconds from five to one, ending with the command "shoot", which begins the timed interval. e. Five seconds before the end of the interval, the marshal again counts down by seconds from five to one, ending with the command "hold" which marks the end of the timed interval. f. Any archer who releases an arrow before or after the timed interval, and hits the target, shall have his highest scoring arrow from that round removed and not counted. g. Arrows in flight when the hold is called shall be counted. E. Archers who are finished shooting should step back two paces from the line. When all archers are finished, the marshal will issue the command "bows down". After making sure that all archers have dropped their bows, the marshal will give the command "retrieve arrows". Archers may then walk to the targets, mark scores and retrieve arrows. Scoring A. All arrows hitting the mark shall count, even if the part of the arrow shaft thickness is outside the mark. In the event that ringed targets are used, an arrow touching the black line dividing two scoring rings shall count as the higher scoring or the two rings. B. Arrows that fall out of the target after hitting shall be counted as scoring one point. Arrows that bounce off the target without penetrating shall not score. In the event of a pass through, the arrow shall score if it can be ascertained where it struck the target. C. Score sheets shall include the following information: The archer's SCA name, mundane name & address, score at each range or part of the shoot, total score for the round, type and draw weight of bow. Speed round scores should indicate number of arrows shot, excluding early and late shots. 4. EQUIPMENT AND SHOOTING TECHNIQUE No archer may use any post-1600 material or technique that gives an unfair advantage to the user. Recurves and longbows of any material are allowed; this includes fibreglass and take-down bows. The following types of equipment are expressly forbidden: compound bows, stabilizers, V-bars and similar, sights (crossbows may have a single-point sight), clickers, kissers, Berger buttons, plungers, mechanical releases, falling arrow rests, self cocking devices on crossbows, and sight markings of any kind on the bow or the string. String walking is not allowed. All arrows shall be made of wood and have natural feather fletching. Broadheads and other points which cause excessive damage to the target must not be used. 5. COMPETITIONS Archery events may include any form of competition you can think of, which is in keeping with the overall purpose of recreating medieval archery. Many forms have been used in the SCA over the years, some authentic, others "creative". Royal Rounds The most common competitions in the SCA at large are the Royal Round and the IKAC (Inter Kingdom Archery Competition). The Royal Round uses a standard 60 cm FITA target, and archers shoot one end of 6 arrows at 20, 30 and 40 yards, plus a speed round of limitless arrows for 30 seconds at 20 yards. Most Kingdoms base archer's ranks on average scores in Royal Rounds. IKAC The IKAC is a Society-wide competition where results are sent in by mail and Kingdoms compete against each other. IKAC rules may change from year to year, but the standard form is an extension of the Royal Round: two ends of 6 arrows at 20, 30 and 40 yards, plus two 30-second speed rounds at all three distances. More information about the IKAC is available on request from the Lt. General of Archers or from the co-ordinator, Sir John Fitz-Rauf (John R Edgerton, 7662 Wells Ave., Newark, CA 94560-3530, USA. Other forms are e.g. - William Tell shoot (Hit an apple on the head of a boy-shaped mannequin. (The use of live boys Q or even girls Q is forbidden.) In keeping with the legend, an alternate target can be provided to symbolize the nasty feudal oppressor, eh, count... to be shot at if the archer misses the apple.), - Approaching enemy (A 30-second shoot at six full-size human-shaped targets are placed at 10 yard intervals at distances of 20 to 70 yards from the line, and at an angle so that archer can shoot at all of them. The targets represent an enemy who is running toward the archers. Each target is shot at for 5 seconds, a Marshal calling out the distance which is currently being shot. - Wand shot (Hit a stick set in the ground in front of an arrow-stopping device). - Clout shooting (Target is so far away that arrows must be dropped onto it, rather than shot directly, with an average-strength bow.) - Parrot shoot (Flu-flu arrows are used. Target is a stuffed bird hung at the top of a tall pole.) - Hunting round (Archers walk a track in the woods and shoot at animal- shaped targets. Archers must estimate the distance to the target since this is not known to them.) Most often, some form of division depending on equipment is used. Usually, the divisions are Open, Longbow, Crossbow. The Drachenwald Round Neither Royal Rounds or IKAC are period competition forms. Round ringed targets are also post-period. The Drachenwald Round has been devised in an attempt to provide a more authentic standard competition for our Kingdom. Archery ranks in Drachenwald are based upon it. This form is intended to award not only shooting skill but also authentic equipment. A. Clout shoot: This is a long-range speed round which simulates military field archery. Arrows are dropped into the target area which represent a besieged castle or a troop of enemy soldiers in a battle. The target is a circle on the ground, diameter 10 yards. It can be made of hay bales or other suitable material. The shooting distance should be 100 yards from the line to the nearest point on the circle. If this distance is not feasible at the site, it may be reduced to a minimum of 80 yards, with a corresponding decrease in size of the target circle to 8 yards. Archers shoot any number of arrows for one full minute. Each arrow which ends up inside the circle scores 2 points. (Estimate: A top-class archer can probably shoot and hit with 12 arrows in a minute, getting 24 points.) B. Shooting at the mark: This is a short-range round based on precision, which has more in common with hunting than with military archery. Archers shoot one end of 6 arrows at 40, 30 and 20 yards. The target is a square piece of paper measuring 21 x 21 cm (8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches). This size just happens to be what you get if you fold and cut square a sheet of standard European A4 stationery. Each arrow that hits the mark scores 1 point. This gives a maximum of 18 points. C. Authenticity: Using authentic equipment yields points, too: Bow: 3 points are awarded to all who shoot an English Longbow (D-shaped without sight window), a self bow, or any other bow which can be documented as authentic for our period. String: 3 points are awarded to all who shoot with a string of non- synthetic material. Arrows: 3 points are awarded for using arrows with self nocks. This means that you can score a maximum of 9 points without even hitting the target. NOTE: At this point, the Drachenwald round is a new form and will subject to adjustment if this becomes desirable. The same goes for the average scores required for archery ranks (see below). 6. RANKS All target archers in the Kingdom who have shot a Drachenwald Round at least 3 times are automatically Companions of the Drachenwald Company of Archers. Two additional ranks are attainable for target archers: Yeoman Archer and Master Archer. In order to become a Yeoman Archer, you must achieve an average score of at least 18 points in three Drachenwald Rounds. In order to become a Master Archer, you must achieve an average score of at least 28 points in three Drachenwald Rounds. Averages for elevation in rank are calculated from the best scores achieved, i.e. if you shoot a round which is less than your previous average, it does not set you back. However, only scores achieved at official archery events are counted, and you may only shoot one round per day for this purpose; the intention to try for a ranking score must be stated before shooting commences. The results to be counted must not be more than 2 years old. NOTE: We hope to produce badges to be worn by archers, reflecting their rank. COMBAT ARCHERY These rules were written by Inkeri Id{nneito, the Earl Marshal's deputy for Combat Archery. I. AUTHORIZATION To be authorized as combat archer, you must: a. Be familiar with these rules. b. Be familiar with the Rules of the Lists. c. Pass armor inspection with at least one missile weapon. d. Be able to visually estimate the relevant minimum distances (3 and 5 meters). e. Be able to inspect arrows and boffers for damage. f. For Marshals, combat experience is also required. II. ARMOR a. Head and neck 1. Regular SCA combat helm with gorget or camail/aventail, marked with a diamond in contrasting color (usually white). 2. Alternately, archery helm made of 1.5 mm steel with grille of 3.2 mm steel bars. These helms must be marked as archery helms in an indelible way so that they can never be confused with real combat helms. b. Upper body 1. 1 mm leather or equivalent, with 7 mm padding. 2. Kidney belt. c. Abdomen 1. Men: suspensoir 2. Women: 1.5 mm leather d. Arms and legs Strong fabric or leather. Padding on knees and elbows e. Hands Leather gloves f. Feet Leather shoes or boots. No sports shoes (even if made of leather) e. General No bare skin may be visible. III. EQUIPMENT A. Bows Maximum 30 pounds draw weight at 28 inches draw length. Compound bows are not allowed. B. Arrows 1. Shaft: hardwood, diameter 6.5-9,5 mm, length 70 cm. Shafts must be taped with fiberglass tape. 2. Fins: at least two. 3. Point: Wooden plug 32-45 mm diameter, 35-50 mm long. A hole is drilled centrally to half the length of the plug. The shaft is glued into the whole. 1.5 mm leather or camping foam is glued around the sides and on the front surface of the wooden plug. On this, at least 5 cm thick open- cell plastic foam is taped (compressed) with fiberglass or duct tape. On top of this, the entire point is taped with electric isolation tape running 10 cm down the shaft. (If there is a metal point, it must be removed before mounting the wooden plug.) 4. Nock: plastic or sawed notch. 5. General: (1) Fire arrows are identified by two red ribbons of the same length as the arrow. (b) All arrows must be inspected before they can be re-used. (c) Quivers: all types are OK. (d) Shields: Archers may not carry shields or other movable protective devices, but in mixed combat mantlets and pavises may be used. These must be marked with a large, clearly visible diamond sign. Make them from 6.5 mm plywood or plastic. IV. INSPECTION a. Armor and arrows: Chech for compliance with section III. EQUIPMENT and shoot the archer with one of his own arrows from 5 meters. b. Bow: If there is no factory marking on the bow, it shall be tested with a bow scale and measuring stick for its draw weight at 20 inches. V. COMBAT CONVENTIONS a. The minimum range for shooting at people is 5 metres. A fighter who gets within 3 metres of an archer may kill that archer by pointing at him/her and saying "Archer, you are dead". b. Target area: Same as for heavy combat, i.e. the whole body except hands, wrists and everything from the knees down. Hits on arms and legs only affect the limb that is hit. c. Force of impact: All hits are counted as "good" except if the arrow has bounced of an inanimate object such as the ground or a tree. On Thursday the Executive Director of SCA, Inc., Sandra Dodd, and the Corporate Registrar, Renee Signoretti, made a good-faith effort to comply with Judge Levinger's court order to make the SCA, Inc.'s books of account available to the mandamus action plaintiffs. The general ledgers and breakdowns of board, corporate officers, and publications expenses for 1991-1994 were provided. They were obstructed from full compliance with the order by Ms. Julie Garfield, an attorney associated with Mr. Richard Johns, whose firm has been made co-counsel with Mr. James Seely for the SCA, Inc. in this matter. Mr. Johns had given the plaintiffs' attorney, Ernest Goldsmith, the impression that no lawyer for SCA, Inc. would be present at the document hand-over and urged Goldsmith not to attend. This was, at best, misleading, given the arrival of Ms. Garfield. Goldsmith had, fortunately, not taken Johns' advice. Ms. Garfield refused to allow Ms. Signoretti to hand over copies of the SCA, Inc.'s bank statements, the payroll ledgers, invoices, and check registers for 1991-1994 to the plaintiffs, although these fell within the definition of original books of account under the Judge's order. Neither Ms. Garfield nor Mr. Johns provided an explanation of the refusal. An accountant assisting the plaintiffs indicated that no accurate assessment of the financial status of SCA, Inc. could be made without these materials. SCA, Inc. Director John Fulton has informed the plaintiffs that the corporation's lawyers have not communicated to the directors the reason for their behavior and he assured the plaintiffs that it was the intention of the Board to comply with the court order regarding financial documents. He indicated his personal belief that the Board has had a serious problem communicating with its attorneys since well before former Executive Director Tony Provine's removal. He also said that the Board was working to correct this situation and ensure full compliance, but could not say when the situation would be rectified, although he hoped it could be done in the coming week. SCA, Inc. is still not in compliance with the court order. The deadline is July 11. A hearing has been scheduled for July 26, at which time it is likely that Judge Levinger will sanction SCA, Inc. and the other defendants, including contempt citations and fines, if the corporation has not complied with the order. We are deeply grateful to Sandra Dodd, John Fulton, and Renee Signoretti for their good-faith effort. They have been reasonable, honest, and courteous negotiators and deserve the thanks of the Society. We are ready to continue working with them and any other representatives of the corporation to ensure compliance with the court order. However, if the Board cannot bring Seely and Johns to heel, the SCA, Inc.'s lawyers run the risk of costing the corporation thousands of dollars in fines and the directors contempt citations. This must not be allowed to happen. The Board is appealing the portion of Judge Levinger's order which awarded a copy of the membership list to the plaintiffs for the purpose of an impeachment petition. The notice of appeal was presented to the court on July 1 (Johns neglected to serve a copy on the plaintiffs' attorney -- we found out about it from the clerk of Levinger's court). We recognize that this is a legitimate point of disagreement and are happy for the the court to adjudicate it. If it is the Board's judgment that they must discharge Seely and Johns for failing to follow the Board's instructions, we will not take advantage of the situation and are willing to join the defendants in petitioning the court for a reasonable continuance on this issue to allow the defendants time to obtain new counsel and bring that counsel up to speed, providing SCA, Inc.'s otherwise full compliance with the court order. I attended the Board meeting in Denver this past weekend and have a summary of salient Board actions. They are presented more or less in order of occurrence in the meeting. Approximately 75-80 people attended the meeting. 1. Society Seneschal presented a number of proposals, including the following: a. Give the Kingdoms 60 days to implement any and all new national policies. DEFERRED to the October meeting for discussion and action. b. Starting January 1995, permit Kingdom officers to sell memberships within the kingdoms; an implementation plan will be presented at the October meeting. -- PASSED. 2. The Chancellor of the Exchequer report raised two items: a. The new branch financial policy implementation is to be deferred until November 1. -- PASSED. b. The Board will discuss revisions of the said policy at the October meeting. 3. In the Corporate Office report, Renee reported that the new FOXPRO system is now 100% over budget (at $56K spent). The Computer Committee has ordered that we effectively cut our losses: no more payments are to be made, and we are reverting to the old COBOL system, bids for upgrades on which will be accepted. 4. In the matter of standing committees: Randall and AJ tried to put the Grand Council (the committee responsible for Society reform ideas, as opposed to the IAC, which handles things like agreements over interkingdom events) on hold until October. There was massive opposition from the populace. The Board eventually agreed to solicit the kingdoms to appoint one member each, and to solicit resumes from the general populace. Aelflaed is to coordinate the formation of the Council as ED. The apparent goal is to get the Council up by the October meeting. 5. Aelflaed is trying to get the fall Board meeting yanked from Texas and moved to Tennessee. The Board has not yet received the formal bid from Ansteorra, although the Ansteorran Kingdom Seneschal (present at the meeting) indicated that it was shortly forthcoming. Aelflaed cited expense as the reason for the her recommendation. 6. Pat MacGregor (Siobhan Maebh O'Rourke, if I spelled that anything like right) will take over as editor of _TI_ in September. David of Devon has been appointed Society Chronicler for one year, also effective Sept. 1. 7. TRADEMARK REGISTRATION UPDATE. On 2/14/94, the SCA filed for two federal trademark registrations: a servicemark on "SCA, Inc" and the arms of the Society as a trademark. Note that this action pretty thoroughly contradicts statements made at the April meeting. The relevant federal agencies have not yet ruled, but rulings are expected Real Soon Now. The Board continues to claim that they will not license use; but unless they do so, they cannot maintain the trademark. (Editorial note from Hossein: The TI statement says that the registration is aimed "to guard against unauthorized and inappropriate use"; in light of actions since Jan 22, it is worth asking who is expected to authorize use, on what basis, and what constitutes "inappropriate" use). 8. SUBSCRIPTION TO BOARD MINUTES . The Board HAS ACTED TO RESTORE subscription, which will cover two different items: (1) the legal board minutes, once approved (which will be very terse, but will include all actual actions taken); and (2) a report by the ED including discussions, etc. The Corporate Office must establish a subscription rate and make it available "as soon as reasonable." DRAFT TARGET ARCHERY RULES: I have received a copy of the Target Archery rules that are being sent to the BOD for approval. The section on the type of arrowhead allowed has been changed back to: ÒThe use of broadheads is not allowed.Ó Also it states that the target archery rules do not apply to combat archery. So competitions such as the IKCAC will not fall under those rules. Proposed new Traditional division: There was no upper or lower draw weight limit proposed, bows of under fourty five pounds draw will be allowed. And laminate bows will also be allowed. If you can shoot your bow in the IKAC now(except for modern style crossbows), you would still be able to shot it in the new division next year as well. But no aiming marks will be allowed. The target face may be changed to a more medieval looking style. It will still be 60cm to fit on existing mats. The outer ring would score 2 points, the inner would score 4 points and the peg (the very center of the inner) would score 8 points. After the second year all arrows would have to have self nocks (no plastic nocks). I have sent a list of over sixty arrow and bow stave materials suppliers to all the kingdom archery officers. The Board meeting in Denver provided substantial progress toward resolving the crisis between the Sociey and the corporation. We applaud the Board for heeding the desires of the membership and repealing the most offensive new rules. Pay-to-fight has been repealed. Access to Board minutes for the advisory membership has been restored in a satisfactory way. Significant progress has been made. We are especially heartened that the corporation has begun to recognize that the strength of the Society lies in its diversity, and has begun to return control of local affairs to local participants. The decisions to allow border changes and group status decisions to be handled at the Kingdom level (for groups below territorial principality and excepting baronial elevation) and to prevent interference by the Chirurgeon General in policies set by the East and Middle at Pennsic are healthy signs of recognition that more decisions must be decentralized. However, the struggle for structural reform in the Society is not over. The Denver meeting is only a beginning. With all due respect to Duke Inman of Ansteorra, we must disagree with his belief that the Denver meeting ended the present crisis. Substantial progress was made, but the fundamental problems are unchanged. Just as Tony Provine was a painful symptom of systemic flaws, so were both forms of compulsory membership, and so now are the continuing imposition of an unjustified non-member surcharge and the continuing effort by the corporation to conceal its financial status from the membership. A court has ordered the corporation to open its books to the membership -- the entire membership, not just the plaintiffs -- but the corporation continues to resist that court order. The plaintiffs -- who are neither all of CSOS nor only CSOS -- have received some information, but not the crucial data needed to evaluate the financial health and management of the SCA, Inc. We hope that the directors will give up their effort to defy the bylaws and the Superior Court of California, and that the entire advisory membership, will receive the remaining records this week. As we have said from the outset, our goal is to understand the Board's claim of a "financial emergency", a claim that was the excuse for all that has followed from the January decrees. As we have always promised, the data we receive and the analyses we make will be provided to any interested member. The Board has acted responsively, but it has not yet fixed the problem. From the first day, this crisis has been about accountability and representation. If we learn any single lesson from these seven months, let it be that the Society belongs to all of us and that we all deserve a hand in its governance. No one, no matter how well-intentioned, has the wisdom or the skills or the right to govern our Society by decree. Let us bring to an end the days of a Board that is self-appointed, self-perpetuating, and accountable to no one. We deserve better. We deserve a corporation run for us rather than on our backs. We deserve a corporation which recognizes that the Society is our home, not a product to be marketed. We deserve a corporation which respects that we are the Society, not just magazine subscribers. We deserve a corporation which is accountable to us and responsible to us; a corporation that belongs to us. The directors have given signs in Denver that some of them are beginning to realize this truth. The new director appointments, especially that of Lee Forgue, give us reason to believe that the directors can be moved to understand the need for structural reform. John Fulton and Eric Mohr repeatedly showed during the meeting that they have the requisite understanding. It is unfortunate that mundane circumstances have compelled Eric to reign from the Board -- his contributions have been invaluable. We of CSOS do not pretend to have the only answers to the problems that face the Society. We have offered one plan, and we dearly hope that others will step forward and offer criticism, improvements, and alternatives. On July 26, 1994 Judge Levinger heard the SCA, Inc.'s motion for a new hearing of the mandamus petition. In an unaccustomed move for a Law and Motion Court in California (which such motions are normally either just granted or dismissed), Judge Levinger dismissed the SCA. Inc's motion with findings which rejected all the corporation's legal citations as irrelevant and reaffirmed her original granting of the extraordinary writ of mandamus. Legal counsel for SCA, Inc. had filed notice of appeal on July 1 and reaffirmed to the judge the corporation's decision to appeal her ruling. A transcript of the hearing will be available shortly and we will post that transcript to the net. The SCA, Inc. is still not yet in compliance with the court order. The payroll ledger, check registers, bank statements and invoices necessary to check the accuracy of the general ledgers have not been made available to the membership. Furthermore there are entries in the general ledgers so cryptic that only these documents can provide explanation of what they mean. The clock is ticking and Judge Levinger is prepared to be only so patient. If the corporation does not comply soon, it will mean sanctions against the corporation and the directors.
