Ocrana vs infensus Clan Base ET EuroCup IX semi final 25/5 2004

Usitch!

1) Extract the file in_vs_ocr.zip to your root ET folder.

This will create, in your etpro folder, the directories: music, mp3 and mp3towav.
It will also extract three .bat-files to your ET root folder as well as three
cfg's to your etpro folder (iN_vs_ocr-1-supplydepot.cfg,
iN_vs_ocr-2-supplydepot.cfg and iN_vs_ocr-3-grush.cfg).

2) Convert mp3 to wav

In the dir "mp3towav" double click the file SCMPX.EXE. A small application opens up.
Click the button labelled "Convert" and select Multiple Files/Decode to wav. Add the
files in the "mp3" folder, and output to the "music" folder. Click "Run" and the conversion
process should begin.
Look in the "music" folder and make sure that the wavs have the same file name as the mp3s.
ONly difference should be file extension.

3) Watching the demos with shoutcast

For round 1, double click the file iN_vs_ocr-1-supplydepot.bat located in the ET root folder.
This will load ETPro and start the demo. Precisely when the demo starts playing, press "O" on
your keyboard. This will start playing the shoutcast. (The goldrush shoutcast has a 10 second
silence at the start, so don't press O more than once.)

4) Audio/video out of synch

If the demo and the shoutcast should happen to be out of synch (it is, slightly), you can speed up
or slow down the demo by pressing the numbers 6 and 4 respectively on the numerical keypad and
getting them synched.

5) Repeat step 3 and 4 for the other two .bat files.

NOTE.

This by no means the optimal way of playing back demos with shoutcast, but unfortunately I couldn't
get it to work the way it does in RTCW OSP where you have the game convert the mp3 to a wav and then
automatically load it synched with the demo. Perhaps it's possible with ET as well, and quite easy at
that, and if so I'd much appreciate any kind soul stepping forward to releave me of my ignorance on the
subject. I would also appreciate if you didn't make a huge deal out of it. ;)

This distribution was scanned using Norton Antivirus 2002, using the most recent (19/5 2004) anti-virus
def files.

Thanks to WaCKSteVeN of iTG Radio for making the demos available.

Cheers,
Wikkit
