3-D TV UP CLOSE
Virtual I/O, partly owned by Tele-Communications Inc., has designed a pair
of "i-glasses!" that brings 3-dimensional video up close. Ir works by
shining images from two liquid-crystal displays -- one for each eye. TCI
plans to broadcast programs and distribute video games especially made for
i-glasses!. The glasses will sell for $599, or $799 for the deluxe model
that tracks head movements and adjusts the scene accordingly. (Business
