I have, at least very simple stuff in that line. I have seen a 
demonstration of a mouse pointer being moved by thought on a TV program. 
This however was very unreliable and inaccurate, but it is only the 
beginning. I have also read of the newest research in neurophysiology 
which is being done with the help of CT and MRI imaging, this is allowing 
the areas of the brain used in certain thought processes to be found. 
Another technique similar to EEG has been used to accurately pinpoint the 
points in the brain associated with the feeling in each finger.

This is only very simple things so far, but it does lay the way open for 
more complex things in the future.
