Sept. 29-- RPI Entertainment began shipping The Cyberchair2000A for
playing games and experiencing VR rides in out-of-home venues. The
user sits inside the miniature cockpit and experiences powerful
dramatic scenes, with all of their senses, as though they were
there. The new RPI distribution resources are located in Amsterdam and
Seoul. The Cyberchair2000A features a complete sitdown driving
cabinet, overhead metal roll-bar structure, concurrent RGB monitor
output and NTSC Head Mounted Display video, 25" public display screen,
PC and/or JAMMA video PCB game operation, video adjustment module,
Rumble/Thump effects via body "shock-sonics", steel Head Mounted
Display theft prevention cable, backlit graphics, Operator-specific
logos, headtracking and stereo-3D sound. The systems start at
$19,500.00 and discount to $16,200 for volume orders. An optional user
and computer controlled motion-base uses a special safety system that
allows extreme angular pitch and roll without the need for a
seatbelt. The Cyberchairs are designed to be upgradeable and can offer
an optional variety of software experiences and shared user action via
telephone interface. The Chair features options such as heat fields,
rumble & thump sound processors, wind, spatial surround sound without
headphones, and other special effects. RPI Entertainment is a US
corporation with 20 years experience in 100,000 person+ media project
design and production. RPI Entertainment specializes in
state-of-the-art turn-key Arcade, Theater, Family entertainment center
and Theme park ride and presentation projects.  RPI has maintained an
R&D foundry to develop the component parts for its turn-key
systems. Advantages of the RPI systems include: higher fidelity, one
to one perspective viewing, no distractions from audience members and
theater structure, the world's best 3D stereoscopic media and a better
emotional and dramatic effect. Other RPI Entertainment technology that
supports the products includes PC based, high-definition
stereoscopy(HD3D), including a board system, in production ramp-up,
with 3 million polygon per second capability and extensive photo-real

systems. RPI plans to deliver only photo-real video solutions. The RPI

modified and upgraded an infinite number of times. The RPI

engineering requirements or giant technical rooms. RPI claims that
they cost less to produce and provide higher excitement than
competitive systems.  The repeat attendance factor for the same one of
each typical RPI ride experience is extremely high. RPI provides
experience development partners for cost reduction and expanded
promotional programs. RPI provides content production to upgrade
existing simulator rides and reduce the weight while increasing
capacity on those rides. RPI offers motion chairs, pods, stand-up
units, flying rigs, cockpits and other simulation rides and
devices. The micro-stereo laserdisk, 3D autostereoscopic
SpectralActive(TM) "nothing-to-wear" display and the motion base are
currently being demonstrated to qualified buyers.
