My company has recently completed Vignette 1.0, a real-time 3d model
viewer under windows. Its engine is Renderware, and it imports 3ds and dxf
formats. The program is available for about 80$ from digimation
(800)854-4496. It is an amazing tool, designed by myself and a friend/
architect specifically for viewing VR environments and objects. It is an
excellent tool for RW developers as well since it reads in rwx files. It is
priced so low to encourage widespread use in the industry, and if you
want to see just how well it performs, I urge you to down-load the demo
version of which I just recompiled. Basically I took out the importation
features, but there is plenty left to wet the appetites of everyone.

This is just the beggining folks.. Vignette 2.0 is underway and shall have
even more great features: scrolling backgrounds, full texture support, HELMET
AND TRACKING support in mono/stereo and much much more. I hope it help
you out as much as it helps us!

To get a copy, you need to ftp it from rtd.com. For those of you unfamiliar
with the process it goes something like this:

  "ftp rtd.com"
  "anonymous"
  [type in your email]
  "cd pub"
  "cd VR"
  "bin"
  "mget *.*"
  [hit yes when prompted]
  "quit"

You will then have the zipfile and a readme in your current directory.
Download them and read the readme!!!

Please mail me with questions and comments.. your comments will no
doubt help mold V2.0!!

Oh, and before rushing off to buy it email me, Ill look into an EVEN
FURTHER discounted price for direct purchase ;))
