I'm glad to announce the first upgrade of VRXplorer, 
the Multimedia Toolbook 3.0a application (MS Windows Platform)
developed to help Toolbook users in creating 360 degree 
virtual views.

The new release make use of transparent viewers to create 
sensible areas (hotspots) on top of the images and associate 
to them a Toolbook statement.
This make possible the cybernavigation among different points 
of view, links to sounds or movies and even to HTML documents 
on the Web (have a look at the CYBRARY demo included in the 
software).

VRX can be downloaded at your convenience from one of the 
following WWW sites:

(available in the very next days on ftp, too)

Use this software to enrich your CBT applications, 
to create fascinating front ends to the World Wide Web,

I know, it's crazy, but VRX is still freeware 
(for research purposes, only !!).

VRX is a joined research of Library Affairs of Southern Illinois 
University at Carbondale, USA and the Dept. of Italian Studies of 
the University of Trieste, Italy.
