Anouncing WORLDBUILDER v.1.0, the culmination of a Major Qualifying
Project through the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Computer Science
Department.  WorldBuilder utilizes the Rend386 engine and I/O
routines, but brings a new mode of interaction.  Users with
PowerGloves have complete control over the virtual environment,
including object manipulation (object movement, painting, rotation,
scaling, cut/copy/paste) and creation (extruding user defined polygons
through 3space).  Users can now open and save virtual worlds from
within WorldBuilder.  Included at the ftp site is the executable,
source, and 30 page manual plus tutorial (in postscript format) for
using the system.

Note: A 386 or 486 PC and VGA card are required to run this software.
      A PowerGlove is needed to utilize most features of this application.
      To get adequate performance with worlds and a powerglove 
      a 486 is recommended.

          includes all files for the WorldBuilder application, 
          including sample clip objects and worlds from
          Virtual Reality Creations, with permission from Bernie Roehl.

MANPS.ZIP
          The manual for WorldBuilder, including a tutorial.

          all source files to build WorldBuilder, please feel 
          free to modify and change this application.

Instalation notes:

BLDREXE.ZIP was pkzip'd preserving sub-directory structure.  
To extract the files, while preserving this structure use the 
following command: pkunzip -d BLDREXE.ZIP
