          NEWS:  UPCOMING 1994 IMAGE VII CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION

FOCUS:  This biennial, high-tech conference focuses on real-time visual
        simulation technology & its applications.

SPONSOR: The IMAGE Society, a non-profit organization of professionals united
         by their common interest in advancing visual simulation technology 
         and its applications.

DATE & LOCATION:  12-17 June 1994, The Westin LaPaloma Resort in Tucson,
                  Arizona featuring casual Southwest elegance at very 
                  attractive room rates.

ATTENDANCE:  500+  (>20% international)

ATTENDEE PROFILE:  - leading edge developers & researchers from industry, 
                     academe, and government.
                   - end users of visual system technology including 
                     aeronautical, automotive, medical, military, & other

IMAGE Society SIG meetings: 14-16 June, including a meeting of SIGNET; SIG
meetings scheduled to not interfere with paper sessions or tutorials.
PROJECT 2851 Industry/Service Working Group (ISWG) has also scheduled a
concurrent meeting to be held in conjunction with the Conference on 13 June at
the conference hotel.

REGISTRATION FEE: $375 ($395 non-USA addresses) postmarked prior to 30 April-
$425 thereafter.  Registration includes a copy of the Conference Proceedings,
beverage breaks, complimentary IMAGE Society 2-year membership, several
receptions, and admission to all sessions, exhibit hall, and side meetings. 
Prevailing local GSA lodging rates are offered by the hotel to active duty US
national government/military employees.
