a personal computer. In this tutorial, participants will gain an
understanding of the design, functionality and philosophy of the
VREAM 2.0 software development system for DOS and Windows.
Included in the tutorial is the creation of a complete, fully
interactive, textured virtual world from start to finish. Advanced
world-building techniques will also be discussed and illustrated with
sample applications. In addition, participants will be able to
experience both desktop and fully immersive VREAM virtual worlds
using a variety of interface devices, including head-mounted
displays, 3D tracking systems, 3D mice, and 3D position controllers.

VENTURE CAPITAL FORUM
Friday: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. GOLD ROOM
Moderator: Patricia Glovsky; Bear, Stearns and Co., Inc.

Introduction: Investors and entrepreneurs have found the "Venture
Capital" forum to be a successful mechanism. Private investor
groups, entrepreneurial networks and a number of states - from
Maine to Iowa - have organized this type of forum. Previous venture
capital forums have been organized for geographical areas or for
specific business interests. Mecklermedia's New York Virtual Reality
Expo was the first "Venture Capital Forum" expressly designed to
bring the virtual reality business community together with the
investment community.

Presentations: Presenters will be representatives of Virtual Reality
businesses ready to expand. Each business will have a presentation
time-slot. The audience will be individual, corporate, and venture
capital investors as well as other financial organizations.
Presenters will provide an oral summary which will highlight the
important points about their respective businesses that will lead the
potential investor to an understanding of why the venture will
succeed. The presentors will also include the following elements in
their summary: Company Description; Products or Services; Market
and Marketing Strategy; Management; and Financial Summary
