From: blau@bluerock.com (Brian Blau) Subject: ONLINE: Autodesk's CDK World Viewer Organization: BEST Internet (415) 964-2378 I have posted a new version of Autodesk's Cyberspace Developer Kit World Viewer to : http://www.bluerock.com/cdkwv/ The files you will need are cdkwvnt.zip (for use in Windows NT 3.5) or cdkwvwin.zip (for use in Windows 3.1 with win32s). You may also need to download the win32s.zip and wing.zip as well. Please review the requirements on the page listed above to determine what files you will need. There you will find information about the CDK as well as the World Viewer, a program that has amazing capabilities. This program runs under the Windows 3.1 and Windows NT operating systems and can be used as a 3D Studio and AutoCAD DXF helper application when using the Mosaic and Netscape internet browsers. This program is free, no bones about it. You can use it to view any AutoCAD (.dxf) file tthat contains basic 3d geometry and any 3D Studio (.3ds) file that contains geometry, textures and animations. It runs only in 256 colors and is fairly fast. Autodesk's Cyberspace Developer Kit R2 is a C++ object oriented toolkit for the development of virtual environments and interactive 3D graphics on the Windows NT and Windwos 3.1/Win32s operating systems. The CDK provides a unified, comprehensive set of classes that professional developers can combine and extend to make finished applications for a variety of hardware configurations. It also supports interactive hands-on experimentation and prototyping. It contains 170 predefined classes, comprising more than 1,400 publically accessible member functions.
