The Toronto Virtual Reality Special Interest Group is holding its
second user meeting.

     Date: Thursday April 15, 1993
Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
    Place: Palmertson Public Library
560 Palmerston Avenue (Bloor & Bathurst - see below
for more information on getting there)

The Toronto VR SIG brings together people who are involved, or just
interested in Virtual Reality. Atendees have an opportunity to
informally discuss interests, share ideas, and demo their creations.

Here is a list of items which you can look forward to seeing at our
second user meeting.

-Atendees may bring down and demo any thing they have created.
Either complete or incomplete, either real or just on paper.
If you plan on bring something down, please let me know ahead
    of time.

-A 486 PC will be available for running demonstrations.

-We will discuss gloves, head-mounted displays, shutter
glasses, head trackers, frame grabbers, REND386, and
    other hardware/software.

-Dave Stampe, co-author of REND386 will be on-hand to share
    his expertise.

-Atendees of the VR Systems '93 Conference, which took place
in New York this March, will be on-hand to discuss their
findings as well as share collected literature and pamphlets.

-We will discuss the possible creation of a VRASP (Virtual
Reality Alliance for Studends and Professionals) chapter
    in Toronto.

There are limited spaces available so please let me know if you
plan to attend. Registration is not necessary, but we would like
to know ahead of time how many people will be attending.

If you would like to register or for more information, you may
send me e-mail on this conference, or on the Internet at
caius.tenche@canrem.com or optionally, you can call me at
(416) 242-3119.

There will be a small $2 charge, at the door, to cover the cost of
the room rental.

How to get to the Palmerston Public Library:
Once you're at Bloor and Bathurst, walk west. The 2nd street is
Palmerston Avenue. Go north, and you will see the library on your
left hand side. Parking is available across from the library.
