However, I need to gauge what the market (you!) require and what you'll pay for it! Therefore I need some responses (via e-mail) to the questions below. Anyone mailing me will receive 5% discount on the finished product should it come to fruition. Thanx. Marc :@) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- VapourGlove R&D Questions: (1) How much should this glove be? (2) We are planning on featuring the 14-primary finger joints...should there be more? Should there be less? (3) What sort of resolution should the glove offer? We could provide 2-bit (a la Nintendo PowerGlove), 4-bit (16 levels per finger), 8-bit (256 levels per finger) or even 12 or 16-bit. (4) Would you want position tracking with the glove? What system would you prefer? (5) Should we do left and right hand versions? (6) How should the glove data be presented? We can offer straight analog for people with A to D conversion, digital (as outlined above) or possibly serial... (7) Would a full body suit be of interest? About the glove so far: The glove is made of Lycra and therefore very flexible, light (35g) and snug fitting. The actual finger tracking is done with highy flexible resistive plastic - this stuff can expand by 800% without fracturing!!!
