THE CONFERENCE:

The Entity-Relationship (ER) approach is extensively used in many
database and information system design methodologies and has become a
de facto standard of most manual and automated design tools. The ER
Conference has become the primary forum for researchers and
practitioners in data Modeling. In line with its tradition, the 12-th
ER conference will provide an international and inter-disciplinary
forum in which researchers and practitioners can share novel research,
tool developments and management experiences. The conference will
consist of invited talks, paper presentations, tutorials, tool
demonstrations and panel sessions. Conference proceedings will be
published by ER Institute. Selected papers may be published in Data
and Knowledge Engineering (North Holland).

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS:

   Paper submissions must be in English, double space format and
   at most 6000 words.

   Authors, affiliations, telephone numbers, email addresses,
   and fax numbers must be stated.

   Authors must submit four copies of each paper/tutorial to the
   program chairman.


IMPORTANT DATES:

   Deadline for Paper Submission: June 1, 1993
   Deadline for Tutorial/Panel Proposals: June 30, 1993
   Notification of Acceptance: August 15, 1993
   Camera Ready Papers Due: September 30, 1993
