We did a concept demo today of the Virtual Environment Theater (VET).
The team amply demonsrated inclusion to a bemused audience of archi-
tects, construction firm executives, interior designers, developers,
public officials, real estate folks, and Seattle's largest current
philanthropic effort, the Seattle Commons project to put a "Central
Park" on Lake Union.  (We're proposing to build a Museum of the Future
for the Commons.)  It cost $610, not counting wine, cheese, and
mineral water.  Got three tentative orders for the real thing and
several offers to discuss next-generation environments in the near-
million-dollar range.  Go figure....

So now I'm a believer.  It can be done.

Credit goes to Worldesign's world designer Daniel Henry, info designer
Dr. Brian Epps, worldsmith Dan Cook, and a support team including info
designer Karen Jones, program manager Chet Dagit, worldsmiths Peter
Wong and Avi Bar-Zeev, and overseer/den-mother Barbara DeFranza.  CFO
Craig Breed delivered the spiel and I looked on, amazed.

The VET is a generic information environment that we're customizing to
meet the needs of specific application domains.  In this case, the
need is to visualize the built environment.
