GhK Objectives The twelfth European Annual Conference on Human Decision Making and Manual Control will be held in Kassel, which has become the geographical center of Germany and got a growing importance as a link between eastern and Western Europe. The Man-Machine Systems group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the young University of Kassel celebrated its tenth anniversary a few month ago. The Conference continues the tradition established in 1981 of bringing together researchers from different disciplines of man-machine interaction research in an informal way. The main goal of this conference is to provide a forum for the extensive discussion of new and ongoing work among all participants.
