I have played the game you mentioned at UC Berkeley's "Underground".
It was the game Dactyl Nightmare running on a pair of Amigas. It's
true, the hmd's were very heavy, fit poorly, slid around, and were of
OK resolution.

The latency in the head and hand trackers was horrendous. I will not
even hazard a guess. Any professional opinions?
