Hi,

I'm looking for advise from have careers, or know people with
careers, in the virtual reality field.

I'm a software engineer with a BSCS and four years of work
experience in C, and recently C++. My experience is mostly in file
systems(DOS, OS/2, NetWare) and networks(TCP, NetBIOS, IPX/SPX, Banyan
Vines), with a small amount of UI(PM, Windows and some X durring
school). I have spent a lot of time at home writing 3d polygon
rendering stuff and have realy enjoyed it.

Well, enough background, my question is:

What is the best course of action for me to take in ordier to
change my career direction more toward VR, particulary networked multi
user environments?

Specifics would be appreciated, eg. what schools or companys
to look into.

Thanks

Bill
