There are a couple of provocative threads here; the first is the
assumption that an interactive peice must produce a directly correlated
reaction to the observer/participants *action*. Why not include
uncertainty as a result?

The second is this, perhaps the cycle time of a plant responding to
human stimulus is much slower than what we are expecting and creates a
condition of "imperceptable movement".  Why not allow for interactive
reactions that are beyond human time scale?
