Hi,

I wonder if someone have done or is doing a comparaison study of a
glove Vs a joystick as an input device for VE.

We have a Logitech Cyberman (6 DOF), and I should compare it's
ergonomy, ease of use, adaptability and performance with our own glove
(REALGlove).  Any pointer to equivalent work will be appreciated.

I'd like also some comments about the following:

There will be differents test dealing with:

pointing
grabbing and moving
mapping to more DOF
mapping to less DOF
mapping to equal DOF
Selecting

I have already read the `Whole Hand Input' thesis by D. Sturman (if
not wrong) from the MIT, where there is equivalent works. But is there
something elese?

NB: the Cyberman can provide feedback, but the REALGlove not yet.

[It's hard to beat Sturman's Thesis.  However, I do have a list that
was part of an unpublished paper on the Wand, an input device
adapted from a joystick at the HIT Lab.
