I used a Casio TV570 which has a composite video in jack...converting VGA to composite video isn't too much of a problem if you buy an off the shelf PC-to-VCR type box. Infact, one of the one's I've seen over here is less than $200 and is actually a card that looks like a VGA card to the PC, but has a composite output. I tried reverse engineering that Casio TV screens to try and obtain RGB, but didn't get very far. On the models I have, there seems to be a lot of logic actually on the screen PCB, and my guess is that the PAL/NTSC signal is converted not into RGB directly, but into a proprietary signal that can directly drive the LCD controllers...I may be COMPLETELY wrong, however... Anyone else tried this? Marc.
