In the CAVE system, the user was tracked via a magnetic 6Dof device
(maybe Polhemus), and the images on the walls changed according to
her/his position. Furthermore s/he wore a pair of LC shutter glasses,
CrystalEyes (?), and s/he could perceive depth. When two users where
in the room at the same time, only one could control the "point of
view", while both could see 3D. BTW it had been a problem to use LC
shutters glasses since the LCD used in the projectors weren't fast
enough (if I remember right the problem was with the green channel).
