He should possess a degree in computer science or other computer-related disciplines. Key resources of the project include a 8000-node DEC MP-1 machine and a 20-node transputer array. The job involves designing and developing parallel algorithms for rendering and analyzing 3D digitial images such as CAT and MRI medical images and confocal microscopic images. Concurrent registration of postgraduate studies is particularly welcome. Salary is at least US$14k (up to US$17k for Master degree holders) - AFTER TAX! The initial contract is for one year initially and extensible to three years.
