The UK company has become a Sega technology partner along with Martin Marietta of the US (electronics, simulation and training). They are working on a new arcade game to be launched early 1994. Deal is worth 3.5 million Sterling (~ $5.5m) over two years to W Industries, followed by a further 1.3m sterling in licensing fees. Waldern says Sega chose WI's system over its own and that of other suppliers. Goes on with various background info. States that electronic arcade business is worth $9bn a year worldwide, and is growing at 18% annually. I have never seen any sign that anyone from WI reads this group, but I can only say well done Waldern - you've gotten some flak from this group, but VR is making you rich (and how many other of us VR buffs can say the same?).
