Date: July 13 Time: 5 pm Location: BNR Inc., Research Triangle Park, Mountain View room The purpose of the RTPVRSIG (tentatively named!) is to generate interest and promote information sharing amongst members of the Triangle VR community. Our first meeting will feature: * A talk by Mark A. DeLoura on the status of the current Virtual Reality work going on at UNC, including a video of this work. * A Rend386 demo * A Virtus Walkthrough demo At that time we will also discuss whether we wish to become a VRASP (Virtual Reality Alliance of Students and Professionals) Cell. Directions to BNR RTP: Take I-40 towards Research Triangle Park and get off at Davis Drive. Turn left (south), and follow Davis through the intersection with Highway 54. Continue for another half mile, and turn left into the BNR entrance on Davis. This is the employee lot. Park here and enter the door on this side of the building. The Mountain View room is on the main floor, next to the elevators. Anyone interested in virtual reality technology is welcome. Please let us know if you hope to attend.
