Newsbytes, on Clarinet, reports that Microsoft and a host of other
firms will jointly sponsor the Usability Professionals Association
conference at Microsoft's campus, Redmond, WA, on July 21-23, 1993.

The purpose of the conference is to promote usability as a way to
benefit customers.  Experts from a variety of disciplines and
industries will discuss their work.  About 250 are expected to 
attend, including speakers Jakob Nielsen of Bellcore, Judith Ramey
of the U of Washington, H-P's Amanda Prail and Microsoft's own
Mary Dieli.
