I have read a few of the new books out but I am confused how VR uses
solids.  I have been in the aircraft business for 10 years and we
worked 3D in CAD programs like CATIA, AUTOCAD, CADKEY and
Pro-Engineer.  These all now have what are called solid modeling.  Are
these the same solids used in VR programs for world building?  Is
someone like myself able to use my experience in 3D "modeling" in the
Aircraft business to help people in VR with their modeling?
