Thanks.... For DOS systems and standard VGA, i suggest Rend386 and ACK3D. Rend386 is a copyrighted freeware VR package available on sunee.uwaterloo.ca. ACK3D is also copyrighted freeware raycasting package for the PC. It is available on CompuServe in both the Gamer's forum and Cyberforum as ACK3D.ZIP. I dont know if it has been made available on any ftp sites. The raycasting used by ACK3D is similar to the the textures used in the various Wolfenstein, etc sharware games, which would be another option. You dont get full 6D motion, but it is great for doing walls for dungeons, etc. Otherwise, there is Sense8's WTK, which is available for VGA systems now.
