The show runs form 30 July thru 28 1993. This exhibition which features primarily digital print work is being mounted to counterpoint "Machine Culture" which is the art show at the national SIGGRAPH Conference taking place in Anaheim from 1 to 6 August 1993. This year SIGGRAPH is presenting only electronically interactive work, in effect locking-out more traditional computer art forms, like prints and static constructions. There is a recognition that static computer based objects and imagery function as accessible artifacts that help bridge the gap between cyber-art and the traditional-media art world. "Digital Salon des Independents" will feature the work of Jean-Pierre Hebert, Tony Longson, Roman Verostko, Uri Dothan, Donna Geib, Stewart McSherry, Victor Acevedo, Michael Wright, Nancy Macko, Barbara Nessim, Para Kaul, Ron Ownby, Kamran Moojedi, Rich Sim, Edie Paul, Andrew Scott, Stephanie Slade, Howard Smith, Carol Flax, Rebecca Allen and others.
