VR will always have its niche uses in arcades, training simulators,
architecture presentations, occupational therapy, etc. The question
is whether it will ever become a mass industry, i.e. home or general
business. Currently that may not be optimistic. Lots of new
human-computer-interfaces are over-hyped. Take for example the
pen-computers, that have their niche uses, but have not caught on in
mass use yet.
