I am preparing a bibliography for a course on the implications of the
Net and of its technolgies/media/etc. In specific, I am currently
looking for any materials that relate to Jaron Lanier. As I suppose
there may be much out there that is not reference on the computer
databases, I would appreciate any leads.

The course will be team-taught between the University of Helsinki and
Williams College (MA), via MU* (good old text-based VR, with some
advanced client software...), by Professors Esa Saarinen (Philosophy,
and ex-Finnish rock star) and Mark Taylor (religion, ex-roommate of
Dead lyricist Barlow). If anyone thinks that they have interesting
suggestions for other material re:VR, the implications of the Net,
mind-expansion, and so forth, please forward suggestions.

Finally, does anyone know if anyone's done this before (either a class
on the Net/VR/etc., or a conference/class via an Internet-based form
of VR)?
