From: Charis Anne Baz Subject: JOB WANTED: 3d modeller available for contracts Date: Tue, 15 Jun 1993 08:21:57 -0700 Dear Personnel Manager, I am an independent consultant, specializing in three-dimensional modeling. I have experience in many types of 3D modeling, including mechanical engineering simulation (FEA) and virtual-reality modeling. The latter is used in any real-time 3D application, i ncluding computer games. I created almost all of the 3D models in the game "Car & Driver" published by Electronic Arts. My specialty is realistic three-dimensional modeling. I have some experience with pixel art, especially creating texture maps, but I haven't done normal animation work; that is, I don't create individual bitmaps frame-by-frame for traditional animations. However, I do have six years of experience using AutoCAD, including AutoLISP programming, and am skilled many other programs, such as 3D Studio, I-DEAS, Patran, and Picture Publisher. In regards to VR abilities, I've worked with WorldToolKit by Sense8, and there were examples of my work at the VR Conference in San Jose on May 19th. I have also done technical illustration, mechanical drafting, desktop publishing, and even personal computer construction, troubleshooting, and maintenance. I can program in Pascal, LISP, BASIC, dBASE, and DOS (and 4DOS) batch languages, and am familiar wit h most other computer languages. I work in Oakland, communicating with my clients by telephone (voice, fax, and modem). I also can travel to work on-site as necessary. For more information, please write back to this account with your fax and/or address, and I will send you my resume and samples of my work. Thank you very much for your time. Sincerely, Josh White 870 Aileen St. Oakland, CA 94608 510-420-0454
