The latest version of VistaPro is too be released by the end of the month.
IN addition to 24-bit color, higher resolution (up to 1280X1024), more
trees, buildings, roads and clouds, a support for (and apparently a new
source of SEGA-type liquid crystal shutter glasses.  To quote from the press
release I just received "...the ability to generate left and right images for 
3-D viewing (3-D synchronized glasses are optional with VistaPro 3.0)"
However, the enclosed price sheet makes no mention of the glasses.

VistaPro 3.0 will be available on the Mac, IBM and possibly Amiga
platforms.  The above stats are for the IBM version.  PRice is $129
with a sale price of $79 for the next two months.  An upgrade is $45.

I have used version 1.0 to create my own stereoscopic pairs for 
projection, publication and use with the SEGA glasses.  I am
quite please with the results.  You can also create animated fly-throughs
of the datasets (DEMs from the US geolocial service).  (As an aside
there was no version 2.0 for the IBM, they are skipping it so that
all their product lines will have the same number for all platforms.)

They are also taking names of people who would like to be placed on
their "Potential Investor List."
