All of my demos with REND386, PowerGlove, Tektronix stereo monitor, and
Wolf3d (minus the Nazis) have paid off.  A large jury consulting firm
and a CAD consulting firm have hired me to put together a proposal for
both immersive (headset/eyephone) and non-immersive VR/walkthrough systems.
At the present, both would prefer an 486 or Mac Quadra system, though
I will also discuss the merits of a SUN/SGI workstation system.  Neither
client has expressed an interest in a glove interface, though a 6-D
mouse or spaceball type of interface will be needed.

I am submitting a three tier proposal and I am interested in receiving
product information from companies who can deliver any or all of the
following systems.

Level 1.  Simple real-time walkthrough much like Virtus Walkthrough
or an improved Domark's Vritual Reality Studio.  Ideally, simple
interaction with objects in world should be possible.  The user
should be able to move a chair about a room for example and possibly 
change colors/textures and illumination.

Level 2.  Stereoscopic, non immersive, real-time walkthrough using a
Tektronix, Stereographics or DTI stereoscopic monitor and a 6-D
"mouse."  

Level 3.  Immersive walkthrough (headset/eyephone) and 6-D "mouse."

At the present time I would like each of the above systems to be able
to quickly generate a "world" either from file conversion (from Autocad)
or from digitized floor plans.  Ideally, I would like to receive the
floor plans and have a walkthrough ready in under 2 days.

I am most interested in systems that I could set up and install easily
and quickly (no soldering) as well as systems that would give me access
to the source code should I decide to make changes.

The jury consulting client is most interested in systems that are reliable,
durable, portable and would support networking or multiple users.  The initial
system will be a proof of concept as there are a great many unaswered legal
questions.

I have tentatively agreed to write an article for a legal journal on
VR/walkthroughs, and I would like to be as complete as possible in my
coverage.  If you have system or product available for either this
article or my proposal please send me information.

I will be difficult, if not imposible to reach be phone, so please
