1993 CONFERENCE ON INTELLIGENT COMPUTER-AIDED TRAINING
AND VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGY (ICAT-VET-93)

NASA, the U.S. Army, and the University of Houston-Clear Lake are
sponsoring ICAT-VET-93, a conference on training and virtual
environments.  The whole thing has quite a military-industrial feel to
it, which is not to say that it is unimportant or to be avoided on its
face...only that the topical areas of application are somewhat
limited.  The event takes place at the Gilruth Recreation Center,
NASA/Johnson Space Center, in Houston, Texas (USA).  Registration for
industry is $195; employees of NASA and other government agencies,
including the military branches, are covered.

There will be exhibitions and the U.S. Army Mobile SimNet
demonstration will be operating.  Registered attendees will be given
an appointment to directly experience the Army's premier tank training
system.
