Yes, it is said to be priced in the 200 to 300 U.S.$ range (which
sounds TOO inexpensive- they'll probably use very low-res), and it
will NOT just be 3-D glasses but a actual HMD. There's three games
being programmed for it (a role playing game, a racing game(SEGA's
Virtual Racing), and a possible flight simulator). The unit could also
be interfaced to the Activator (for those who don't know, this product
has actually been shown, and it's a unit in an octagonal shape that
you place on the floor, you stand in the middle, and the unit
registers your movements-sort of).

A christmas release is SEGA's target, as you said.
