Subject: TECH: Angular Velocity Sensors in VR

I have recently come across an angular velocity sensor (AVS), which is
used to measure the deflection of a video camera and then adjust the
lens to compensate for the shake. These AVSs seem as though they
would be graet in HMD tracking, no electric fields needed etc. I was
wondering if anybody has ever used them in such a way, and if so what
were the results and errors associated with them. I'd like to know a
bit more before I purchase a sensor.

Thanks
