  I just took a book from my bookshelf called "Acoustical Holography" Vol 1
Editors: A.F Metherell, H.M.A. El-Sum, and L. Larmore, published in 1969
by Plenum Press, New York.  It is the proceedings of the First International
Symposium on Acoustical Holography, held at the Douglas Advanced Research
Labs, Huntington Beach, CA, Dec. 14-15, 1967.  There are 19 chapters including
a summary chapter by Dennis Gabor, the inventor of holography.  In
acoustical holography, both the object wave and the reference wave are
*sound* waves.
