Did you know that it takes, on the average, seven calls to make a
sale?  The first six produce either "no's" or "I have to think about
it."  (These are called "objections," and must be addressed.)  In 93
percent of the time, only the seventh call produces the sale.

Ironically, though not unexpectedly, only eight percent of
salespersons ever make call five, let alone call seven.

Thus, fewer than eight person of all salespersons are make 93 percent
of all sales.

If you see a good salesperson on the road, hire him.

Of course, we all can be...which is the lesson.
