Hard.  We called it REND386 for a reason; our use of inline 386 assembly
language makes it pretty non-portable.

You may want to contact Jon Blossom, and ask about Gossamer.  I believe he's
coding it in C, and even if there is inline assembler at least it'll be for
the processor you're using.   :-)
