Date: Thu, 27 May 93 17:56:42 PDT

The IMAGE Society is a professional society devoted to "hard core"
real time technology, with an orientation towards high-end and
aerospace apps. The agenda for the symposia in Tuscon has been set as
follows:

Tuesday June 24

Tutorials:
8 AM to Noon Introduction to Image Generation (M. Fortin)
Perception and Human Factors (L. Hettinger)
              Display System Fundamentals (S. Black)

1 PM to 5 PM Advanced Image Generator Architectures (R. Latham)
              Projection Displays (Wynn & Elmer)

6 PM to 10PM Database Fundamentals (K. Oda)
Virtual Reality Systems Design (K. Lindberg and G. Panos)
Color Specification and Display Matching (R. Latham)

Wednesday June 25

Special Interest Group Meetings on Virtual Reality Enabling
Technology, Medical VR, Networked Simulation, Image Generators,
Displays, Human Factors, and Ground Vehicle simulations.

Thursday June 26

SIG meeting continue for a half day.

This is best opportunity available to load up on state-of-the-art
technology.

By the way, Tuscon is about an hour-and-half driven from Phoenix, and
it cooler than Phoenix due to its higher altitude. Off-season
facilities are a bargain ...
