Subject: TECH: what ever happened to "eyeglass TV monitors"?

Early this year three companies were promoting miniturized HMD
displays not much larger than eyeglasses.  Before they were to be used
in VR systems they were supposed to come out this Christmas as
personal TV monitors and portable video games.  I have not seen these
in stores.  Any news from this week's Comdex?
