From: Toni Emerson Subject: INDUSTRY: Sega VR HMD The November 2, 1993 issue of Interactive Update (published by Alexander & Associates Inc., 38 E. 29th St., 10th Fl., New York NY 10016) has the following announcement on page 8: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The advent of a virtual reality system for home use will not be something shoppers will be able to take home with them this Christmas shopping season. It seems Sega of America won't be ready with its system for pre-Christmas prime time. Producing a system equipped with ocular adjustment capability turned out to be harder than anticipated, according to one source. Sega plans to introduce the home VR system next summer. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -T.E. -------------------------------------------------------- \ "You can't have everything.
