Subject: DESIGN: Cyberscope, ELF, etc.


A recent posting refered to the "Cyberscope", a device that mounts to
the front of a computer monitor. I was wondering about the exposure
levels to ELF, VLF, X-rays etc. Does having one's head that close to a
monitor still allow it to operate within federal specs? What are the
federal limits on the stengths of these fields anyway? And do
televisions have stronger or weaker fields than high resolution
monitors? What are the federal guidelines on televisions? How close
can one get to a monitor and still be within safe limits? Is there a
easily understandable publication that outlines this kind of info?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I would be grateful for info on
any or all of them.
