David Sturman (1992) wrote a thesis entitled Whole-hand Input and in one part of the thesis describes a project where a VPL dataglove was used in a musical performance called Bug-Mudra composed and directed by Tod Machover. (page 190-196). He also discusses several input devices including: DataGlove from VPL Inc (415) 988-2550 Dextrous Handmaster from Exos, Inc (I think in Waltham, Massachusetts) PowerGlove from Mattel (I think I heard that they are no longer made by Mattel) TalkingGlove from Virtex Virtual Technologies Space Glove from W. Industries.
