The VPL DataGlove uses fiber optic sensors.  The Mattel/Nintendo Power
Glove uses resistive sensors.  Both were designed and developed by VPL
Research.  VPL sold the rights to home video game market to AGE.

FYI, I was an employee for VPL until I joined Silicon Graphics.
