' Call for Reality'

A multi-million pound project is beign set up in the UK to develop
interactive VR over the telephone lines.  This project is called
Virtuosi and include the following participants: BT, GEC-Hirst Res.
Lab., and is funding by DTI and SERC.

Another article is also about VR:
' Games firm to float '

VR specialist W Industries is planning to raise about UKStrlg 10m with
a public flotation at the London stock exchange. It is also changing
its name to Virtuality Group.  The money will be used to develop new
products, including VR PC processor cards and real-time OS to drive VR
apps.
