I am an MA student, studying Design for Interactive Media, writing his dissertation on the following:

This dissertation will go through recent years (90Us up) and will show
the hardware and software used by a number of companies (not chosen
yet) in their bid for a large chunk of the virtual reality
entertainment market.

I will also project the different possibilities the future will bring
in this area and home entertainment. How I see the market for the VR
entertainment progress, and what I would see as being the next step...
