This 3D stereo experience combines film and some of the most elaborate pieces of computer animation ever rendered. Dual video projectors and polarized glasses will allow the audience to view the experience in full stereo, as it was intended to be seen. Wayne will be on hand to speak about the tools and processes that went into the production of Entertopia Symphony. A 3 Dimensional sound demonstration will also occur featuring the Virtual Audio Processing System (VAPS). Wayne will also lend his insight to the important issues he discovered while producing this project. He can speak first hand about what technology and techniques are most important to creating the deepest levels of immersion for the audience. Although Entertopia is not an interactive experience, these aspects of immersion are critical design parameters for anyone involved in creating VR attractions and experiences. In addition, an ISDN based PictureTel Videoconference will take place with Internews, an ECI affiliate, located at 3220 Sacramento Street, in The 3220 Gallery in San Francisco. An interview will take place with one of the leading VR experts in The Bay Area. If the event is cybercast over the Internet via CU-SeeMe the reflector will be 198.147.96.75 (Thanks Metawire). Admission in Santa Monica will be $10.00.
