Lo. I recently saw an ad in a Damark catalog (of all places) for a
Victormaxx Stuntmaster HMD. I remember seeing these things when they
first came out for about $250. Apparently, they connect to the Sega
Genesis or Super Nintendo game consoles and provide a cheap "VR
effect" for the user (two small screens within a helmet feeding off
the video signal from the consoles). Anyways, they were only $50
dollars so I was wondering if anyone had gotten their hands on one and
attempted to hack it to a PeeCee or Amiga computer (I own one of
each)...? I have a Genesis, so I think I may drag it out of the closet
and order the cheap HMD just for kicks, but it'd be an additional
value if I could find a way to link it up to one of my
computers... BTW - I'm still trying to find some Curtis Nintendo
xtension cords, so if anyone out there has any spare ones, please
email me. I'll pay pretty good prices. Also, if you've got a
particularly good schematic for a Powerglove hack, please mail it to
me (a gif or tiff would be nice as opposed to the ascii one i'm
struggling with). Danke.
